National Animal Nutrition Program (NANP) Modeling: Animal Performance Information
Data can be downloaded in Excel format. Tables include: 1. Studies (reference, publication year, location); 2. Treatments (treatment description, number of animals, species, stage of production; 3. IngrComp (Ingredient Composition information, % DM); 4. Intake (Intake of nutrients, kg or g/d); 5. Digesta (rumen and total tract digestibility measurements, N flow measurements); 6. Milk (milk production, days in milk); 7. MilkComp (milk protein, fat, and lactose); 8. BW (body weight, body condition score); 9. BodyComp (body protein and fat); 10. Gain (average daily gain); 11. Diet (ingredients and inclusion rates); 12. Calorimetry (energy balance measurements from calorimetry studies); 13. Gest (Conception rate, birth rate, days pregnant); 14. GestComp (fluid, uterus, and conceptus composition); and 15. Environment (temperature, relative humidity).

NRC Dairy Report: The data summarized in this set were compiled and used for derivation of the mathematical model published in Nutrient Requirements of Dairy Cattle: Seventh Revised Edition, 2001 prepared by the Subcommittee on Dairy Cattle Nutrition, Committee on Animal Nutrition, National Research Council.

Lofgreen Garrett: The data summarized in this set were a product of the research conducted by Dr. G.P. Lofgreen and Dr. W.N. Garrett both of the University of California, Davis. The data were collected in 5 comparative slaughter trials conducted over 4 years.

USDA Beltsville Agricultural Research Center: The data are the product of over 20 years of energy and nitrogen balance studies conducted in the metabolism chamber facility maintained by USDA in Beltsville, MD.
