These data document vegetation structure such as canopy cover, live ground vegetation, nectar source presence and abundance for transects surveyed throughout the Rim Fire boundary in the Stanislaus National Forest, California. The Rim Fire occurred in early fall 2013. Data were collected in 20 meter segments along a transect line in areas where butterfly surveys were conducted from 2014 to 2015. These vegetation data were collected each time a butterfly survey was conducted (five times per butterfly flight season).
