Raw Sequences of 17 Aspergillus Genomes from Ethiopia

Raw genome sequencing data of 17 isolates of Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus collected from peanuts from Ethiopia. These isolates were selected as representative of the genetic diversity of Aspergillus section Flavi found colonizing peanut seeds in four peanut-farming districts of Ethiopia, these are Darolabu, Gursum, Fedis, and Babile.

Intended Use
The availability of the raw data sequences will allow readers to use different software for genome assembly, or verify specific regions of the assembled genomes submitted to GenBank-National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). The sequencing data were generated using Illumina HiSeq 4000 Pair-End reads 150 base pairs (bp).
Use Limitations
These are raw data, thus, it is recommended to trim the sequencing data for possible presence of adapters and to eliminate low quality reads before processing.
