Feedstock Readiness Level Evaluations Summary Table v3.0

The table in this dataset collates the results of the FSRL evaluations listed under the Farm2Fly Ag Data Commons datasets to enable users to quickly identify, review, and compare available evaluations. Feedstock readiness level evaluations are performed for a specific feedstock-conversion process combination and for a particular region. FSRL evaluations complement evaluations of Fuel Readiness Level (FRL) and environmental progress.

Development of Life Cycle Inventory Data for U.S. Swine Production Scenarios

The swine production datasets are the product of ongoing work by the University of Arkansas Center for Agricultural and Rural Sustainability, the United States Department of Agriculture, and the National Pork Board. The data documentation in this metadata record describes the project background and nomenclature, in addition to a description of the dataset structure, individual unit processes, and production scenarios. Flow-level metadata descriptions for selected unit processes within the U.S. swine dataset can be found in the Appendix section.

Food Security in the United States

The Current Population Survey Food Security Supplement (CPS-FSS) is the source of national and State-level statistics on food insecurity used in USDA's annual reports on household food security. The CPS is a monthly labor force survey of about 50,000 households conducted by the Census Bureau for the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Once each year, after answering the labor force questions, the same households are asked a series of questions (the Food Security Supplement) about food security, food expenditures, and use of food and nutrition assistance programs. Food security data have been collected by the CPS-FSS each year since 1995.

Data from: U.S. Agriculture and Forestry Greenhouse Gas Inventory: 1990-2013

The report 'U.S. Agriculture and Forestry Greenhouse Gas Inventory: 1990-2013' serves to estimate U.S. GHG emissions for the agricultural sector, to quantify uncertainty in emission estimates, and to estimate the potential of agriculture to mitigate U.S. GHG emissions. This dataset contains zipped, tabulated data from the figures and tables, and maps of the entire report. Data are presented for Cropland Soils (N2O), Enteric Fermentation (CH4), Managed Livestock Waste (CH4 + N2O), Grazed Lands (CH4 + N2O), Rice Cultivation + Residue Burning (CH4 + N2O), Energy Use, Forests, Harvested Wood, Urban Trees, and Agricultural Soils. Please refer to the report for full descriptions of and notes on the data.
