Recreation Information Database (RIDB)

Recreation Information Database (RIDB) Application Programming Interface (API) is provided for the purpose of accessing RIDB API endpoints which contain information for federal recreation areas, facilities, campsites, tours, and permits.

    Summer Food Service Program (SFSP)

For researchers and application developers who want to utilize Summer meal site data, FNS provides an option to download a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file and also connect directly to an API (Application Program Interface) of the site.

      Sodium Monitoring Dataset

The Agricultural Research Service of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) in collaboration with other government agencies has a program to track changes in the sodium content of commercially processed and restaurant foods. Results of these monitoring activities are shared once a year in the [Sodium Monitoring Dataset](https://www.ars.usda.gov/ARSUserFiles/80400525/Sodium/Copy%20of%20SodiumMonitoringDatasetUpdatedJuly2616.xlsx) and [USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference](https://www.ars.usda.gov/Services/docs.htm?docid=8964) and once every two years in the [Food and Nutrient Database for Dietary Studies](https://www.ars.usda.gov/Services/docs.htm?docid=12068).

Data from: Shoot transcriptome of the giant reed, Arundo donax

The giant reed, *Arundo donax*, is a perennial grass species that has become an invasive plant in many countries. To establish a foundational molecular dataset, an llumina Hi-Seq protocol was used to sequence the transcriptome of actively growing shoots from an invasive genotype collected along the Rio Grande River, bordering Texas and Mexico. The assembly of 27,491 high confidence transcripts (≥200 bp) are reported with at least 70% coverage of known genes in other Poaceae species.
