Ag Data Commons migration begins October 18, 2023

The Ag Data Commons is migrating to a new platform – an institutional portal on Figshare. Starting October 18 the current system will be available for search and download only. Submissions will resume after the launch of our portal on Figshare in November. Stay tuned for details!

CameraTrapDetectoR General Model

This dataset contains the model weights, architecture, and class label dictionary for CameraTrapDetectoR general model version 1. The model architecture is a FasterRCNN object detection model with a ResNet50 backbone. This model identifies and counts mammals and birds in camera trap images, and includes categories for humans, vehicles, and a background class.

    CameraTrapDetectoR Family Model

This dataset contains the model weights, architecture, and class label dictionary for CameraTrapDetectoR family model version 1. The model architecture is a FasterRCNN object detection model with a ResNet50 backbone. This model identifies and counts animals from 33 North American taxonomic families in camera trap images, including humans vehicles and a background class.

      CameraTrapDetectoR Species Model

CameraTrapDetectoR is an R package that uses deep learning computer vision models to automatically detect, count, and classify common North American domestic and wild species in camera trap images. Data for all versions of the taxonomic species model are located in this dataset. This dataset contains model weights, architectures, and class label dictionaries for the CameraTrapDetectoR species models.

Arctic Peregrine Falcon Abundance on Cliffs Along the Colville River, Alaska, 1981-2002 and Covariate Input Files

This data set consists of fourteen data files. Rcode_arctic_peregrine_abundance.R contains R code that was used to analyze Arctic peregrine falcon data collected between 1981 and 2002. The code primarily uses the R package "UNMARKED" and is based on the Dail-Madsen model for estimating population abundance. To run this code in an R environment, download the file and open it in an R interpreter (such as RStudio). The remaining files are all covariate matrices that act as inputs to the R code.

NRCS Regional Conservation Partnership Program - Mississippi River Basin

The Mississippi River is North America’s largest river, flowing over 2,300 miles through America’s heartland to the Gulf of Mexico. The watershed not only provides drinking water, food, industry, and recreation for millions of people, it also hosts a globally significant migratory flyway and home for over 325 bird species. This dataset includes a printer-friendly CCA map and shapefiles for GIS.
