Ag Data Commons migration begins October 18, 2023

The Ag Data Commons is migrating to a new platform – an institutional portal on Figshare. Starting October 18 the current system will be available for search and download only. Submissions will resume after the launch of our portal on Figshare in November. Stay tuned for details!

The Integrated Pest Information Platform for Extension and Education (iPiPE)

The Integrated Pest Information Platform for Extension and Education (iPiPE) provides an infrastructure with cyberage tools, information products and expert commentary for detection and management of pests that threaten U.S. crops. By categorizing pests, data, and users, it enables sharing observations while protecting privacy of individuals, companies, and government agencies.

LandPKS (Land Potential Knowledge System): Mobile App for Extension, Land-Use and Project Planning, M&E and On-Farm Research

**LandPKS** comprises a free modular mobile phone app connected to cloud-based storage, global databases, and models, downloadable from Google Play or the iTunes App Store; a system for storing and accessing user data; and a system for sharing data, information and knowledge. LandPKS is being developed to help users determine the sustainable potential of their land, including its restoration potential, based on its unique soil, topography and climate. The land potential assessments will be updated based on new evidence regarding the success or failure of new management and restoration systems on different soils.

      AgBase

[AgBase](https://agbase.arizona.edu/index.html) Version 2.0 is a curated, open-source, Web-accessible resource for functional analysis of agricultural plant and animal gene products including gene ontology annotations. Its long-term goal is to serve the needs of the agricultural research communities by facilitating post-genome biology for agriculture researchers and for those researchers primarily using agricultural species as biomedical models. AgBase uses controlled vocabularies developed by the Gene Ontology (GO) Consortium to describe molecular function, biological process, and cellular component for genes and gene products in agricultural species.

Data from: A High-Quality Genome Assembly from a Single, Field-collected Spotted Lanternfly (Lycorma delicatula) using the PacBio Sequel II System

A 2.3 Gb *de novo* genome assembly of a field-collected adult female Spotted Lanternfly (*Lycorma delicatula*) using a single PacBio SMRT Cell is provided. Supporting files for the manuscript "A High-Quality Genome Assembly from a Single, Field-collected Spotted Lanternfly (*Lycorma delicatula*) using the PacBio Sequel II System", include several intermediate versions of the assembly (raw output from Falcon, raw output from Falcon unzip, etc.) as well as the final assembly primary contigs and haplotigs (for the regions of the genome that were phased).

          2DSOIL version 03

2D finite element water, solute, and heat mover model for plant models.

            Virtual Grower 3

Initially designed to help greenhouse growers determine heating costs and do simple simulations to figure out where heat savings could be achieved, it has slowly added features so that now, Virtual Grower can help not only identify those savings through different greenhouse designs, but predict crop growth, assist in scheduling, make real-time predictions of energy use, and see the impact of supplemental lighting on plant growth and development. In other words, the software can be a safety net and allow users to experiment with "what if" scenarios in a risk-free setting.

              DRIFTSIM

DRIFTSIM can be used to determine the effects of major drift-causing factors on the mean drift distances up to 656 feet from the release point for individual water droplets or classes of droplets.

Management Zone Analyst Version 1.0 Software

Management Zone Analyst (MZA) is a decision-aid for creating within-field management zones based on quantitative field information. It mathematically breaks up a field into natural clusters or zones based on the classification parameters and number of zones you specify.

                  RZWQM2

Root Zone Water Quality Model 2 (RZWQM2) is a whole-system model for studying crop production and environmental quality under current and changing climate conditions. It emphasizes the effects of agricultural management practices on physical, chemical and biological processes. RZWQM2 is a one-dimensional model with a pseudo 2-dimensional drainage flow. Crop simulation options include the generic plant growth model, DSSAT-CSM 4.0 and HERMES SUCROS models. It also can simulate surface energy balance with components from the SHAW model and water erosion from the GLEAMS model. An automated parameter estimation algorithm (PEST) was added to RZWQM2 for objective model calibration and uncertainty analysis.
