Ag Data Commons migration begins October 18, 2023

The Ag Data Commons is migrating to a new platform – an institutional portal on Figshare. Starting October 18 the current system will be available for search and download only. Submissions will resume after the launch of our portal on Figshare in November. Stay tuned for details!

Data from: Mortality Dynamics of a Polyphagous Invasive Herbivore Reveal Clues in Its Agroecosystem Success

Field-based, partial life table data for immature stages of silverleaf whitefly on 6 host plants including alfalfa, broccoli, spring and fall cantaloupe, cotton, ornamental lantana, and several species of annual weeds in Maricopa, Marana and Yuma Arizona, USA. Data provide the marginal, cause-specific mortality for eggs, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th instar nymphs collectively and stage-specific marginal mortality for each stage over all causes.

Data from: Mobility of phosphine-susceptible and -resistant Rhyzopertha dominica (Coleoptera: Bostrichidae) and Tribolium castaneum (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae) after exposure to controlled release materials with existing and novel active ingredients

Data collected from early Sep 2020 - Jun 2021 for two experiments: (1) mobility of Tribolium castaneum and Rhyzopertha dominica after exposure to differently formulated controlled release materials for 0-60 min, and (2) median lethal time after exposure to cheesecloth treated with permethrin, deltamethrin, indoxacarb, and dinotefuran between 0-168 h. Tested strains include phosphine-resistant and phosphine-susceptible populations.

Data from: All-hazards dataset mined from the US National Incident Management System 1999–2014

ICS-209-PLUS is a new dataset mined from the public archive (1999–2014) of the U.S. National Incident Management System/Incident Command System Incident Status Summary Form (a total of 124,411 reports for 25,083 incidents, including 24,608 wildfires). This system captures detailed information on incident management costs, personnel, hazard characteristics, values at risk, fatalities, and structural damage.

        Cligen

Cligen is a stochastic weather generator which produces daily estimates of precipitation, temperature, dewpoint, wind, and solar radiation for a single geographic point, using monthly parameters (means, SD's, skewness, etc.) derived from the historic measurements. Unlike other climate generators, it produces individual storm parameter estimates, including time to peak, peak intensity, and storm duration, which are required to run the WEPP and the WEPS soil erosion models.

Arctic Peregrine Falcon Abundance on Cliffs Along the Colville River, Alaska, 1981-2002 and Covariate Input Files

This data set consists of fourteen data files. Rcode_arctic_peregrine_abundance.R contains R code that was used to analyze Arctic peregrine falcon data collected between 1981 and 2002. The code primarily uses the R package "UNMARKED" and is based on the Dail-Madsen model for estimating population abundance. To run this code in an R environment, download the file and open it in an R interpreter (such as RStudio). The remaining files are all covariate matrices that act as inputs to the R code.

Data from: Retrospective Analysis of a Classical Biological Control Program

Field-based, partial life table data for immature stages of *Bemisia tabaci* on cotton in Maricopa, Arizona, USA where data provide the marginal, stage-specific rates of mortality for eggs, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th instar nymphs, and life table data that were used to provide parameters for population matrix models. The model can be used to estimate overall population growth rate and can also be analyzed to determine which life stages contribute the most to changes in growth rates.
