The Ag Data Commons website and application may experience brief, intermittent outages due to network issues. Avoid adding or editing datasets during this period to prevent losing information.. We apologize for the inconvenience. This notice will be removed once the issue is resolved.

Data from: Field Estimates of Attraction of Ceratitis capitata to Trimedlure and Bactrocera dorsalis (Diptera: Tephritidae) to Methyl Eugenol in Varying Environments

This package includes the data from field experiments to measure the range of attraction of two "male lures" on two different pest fruit fly species via Mark-Release-Recapture (MRR). These values will be of importance to those seeking to optimize fruit fly detection networks or other networks of traps. Methyl eugenol is found to be more attractive to Bactrocera dorsalis compared with trimedlure to Ceratitis capitata. Data consists of number released, proportion responsive, quality control assay results, and recaptures in traps set in a grid pattern after the release.

Data from: Draft genome of the rice coral Montipora capitata obtained from linked-read sequencing

THIS DATA HAS BEEN UPDATED: PLEASE SEE http://dx.doi.org/10.15482/USDA.ADC/1503958 FOR THE UPDATED VERSION. Gene models for protein-coding genes in the genome of the rice coral Montipora capitata, Hawaii Island. Annotation was performed with Augustus v3.3.1, using RNA-seq data as extrinsic evidence. Gene structures (.gff), coding sequences (_cds.fas), and amino acid sequences (_aa.fas) are provided.

Compilation of climate data from heterogeneous networks across the Hawaiian Islands

This paper provides: (1) a summary of the available climate data in Hawai‘i including a detailed description of the various meteorological observation networks and data accessibility, and (2) a quality-controlled meteorological dataset across the Hawaiian Islands for the 25-year period 1990-2014. The dataset draws on observations from 471 climate stations and includes rainfall, maximum and minimum surface air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, downward shortwave and longwave radiation data.

Feedstock Readiness Level (FSRL) evaluation: Eucalyptus grandis, Alcohol-to-Jet, Hawaii, June 2018

Feedstock readiness level evaluations are performed for a specific feedstock-conversion process combination and for a particular region. FSRL evaluations complement evaluations of Fuel Readiness Level (FRL) and environmental progress. The data from this evaluation, compiled in June 2018, assesses the maturity of *Eucalyptus grandis* (eucalyptus), as a feedstock for the Alcohol-to-Jet conversion process in the United States Hawaii region.

Feedstock Readiness Level (FSRL) evaluation: Pennisetum purpureum x glaucum (banagrass), Alcohol-to-Jet, Hawaii, June 2018

The data from this evaluation, compiled in June 2018, assesses the maturity of *Saccharum officinarum* (sugarcane), as a feedstock for the the Hydroprocessed Fermented Sugars to Synthetic Isoparaffins (HFS-SIP) and/or Alcohol-to-Jet conversion process in the United States Hawaii region.

              ARS Water Database

The ARS Water Data Base is a collection of precipitation and streamflow data from small agricultural watersheds in the United States. This national archive of variable time-series readings for precipitation and runoff contains sufficient detail to reconstruct storm hydrographs and hyetographs. There are currently about 14,000 station years of data stored in the data base. Watersheds used as study areas range from 0.2 hectare (0.5 acres) to 12,400 square kilometers (4,786 square miles). Raingage networks range from one station per watershed to over 200 stations. The period of record for individual watersheds vary from 1 to 50 years. Some watersheds have been in continuous operation since the mid 1930's.
