AgroAtlas
The Russian-English Agricultural Atlas is the world’s most comprehensive source of information on the geographic distribution of plant-based agriculture in Russia and neighboring countries. The Atlas contains 1500 maps that illustrate the distribution of 100 crops, 560 wild crop relatives, 640 diseases, pests and weeds, and 200 environmental parameters. Additionally, the Atlas provides detailed biological descriptions, illustrations, metadata and reference lists. Currently, individual maps can be downloaded and viewed using freely available AgroAtlas GIS Utility software, which can also be downloaded at this site.
RF-CLASS: Remote-sensing-based Flood Crop Loss Assessment Service System
The Remote-sensing-based Flood Crop Loss Assessment Service System (RF-CLASS) is an Earth Observation (EO) based flood crop loss assessment cyber-service system operated by the Center for Spatial Information Science and Systems (CSISS), George Mason University. RF-CLASS supports flood-related crop statistics and insurance decision-making.
Simulation Data From Aistrup et al. Sustaining the Ogallala Aquifer Manuscript
These data are the simulation results described in the article by Aistrup et al., "Sustaining the Ogallala Aquifer: From the Wells to People, A Holistic CNH Model," accepted for publication in Hydrology and Earth System Sciences. The data are being publicly shared in accordance with journal policy.
A consistent and predictable commercial broiler chicken bacterial microbiome in antibiotic-free production displays strong correlations with performance
This dataset includes forward and reverse raw sequencing reads for 2,309 broiler chicken gut, respiratory, and litter samples surveyed using 16S amplicon profiling.
Columbia River National Scenic Area GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Data
This page contains metadata, or data about data, for our spatial data sets. The data sets are organized by theme which are shown in the table of contents frame. For example, if you are interested in a data set that has to do with water, just click on the water link in the table of contents. Then click on the name of the data set of interest to view the data dictionary. Each data dictionary will explain geographic information about the data set, who the data steward is, how the data set was built, and other associated information. It will also describe the database tables that are associated with the data set. Please contact the data steward (if noted) if you have questions about the content of the data. Their phone number is included within the data dictionary. The export files are shapefiles or geodatabases that have been compressed with WinZip. Projection is a local Albers projection defined for the area of Oregon and Washington in Region 6 of the Forest Service, NAD 83, units are in meters.
Data from: Forest harvest dataset for northern Colorado Rocky Mountains (1984–2015) generated from a Landsat time series and existing forest harvest records
This dataset provides a shapefile containing approximately 3500 polygons with the location, extent, size, and year of clearcut harvest events occurring between 1984 and 2015 in forested areas of northern Colorado.
NUOnet (Nutrient Use and Outcome Network) database
The Nutrient Uptake and Outcomes (NUOnet) database will be able to help establish baselines on nutrient use efficiencies; processes contributing to nutrient losses; and processes contributing to optimal crop yield, nutritional and organoleptic quality. This national database could be used to calculate many different environmental indicators from a comprehensive understanding of nutrient stocks and flows.
