PECMAN Software

Peanut Curing Manager (PECMAN) is a decision support system that assists drying facility managers with inventory control. It schedules sampling and removal times, estimates time remaining on dryer and current moisture content. Cooperators have reported reduced drying costs and improved peanut quality.

    Irrigator Pro

Irrigator Pro is an expert system designed to provide irrigation scheduling recommendations based on scientific data resulting in conservation minded irrigation management. The success of Irrigator Pro for Peanuts created interest in other groups. A collaborative effort between the NPRL, Cotton Commission, University of Georgia, and the Peanut Foundation was established to create comparable models for cotton and corn.

IPM Images: The Source for Agriculture and Pest Management Pictures

A joint project of The University of Georgia - Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources and College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, The Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health, USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture, Southern Integrated Pest Management Center, Southern Plant Diagnostic Network, and USDA/APHIS Identification Technology Program, [IPM Images](https://www.ipmimages.org/) image categories include: Commodity Groups; Taxonomy; Biological Controls; Damage Types; and Diseases.

Plant Variety Protection Office - Scanned Certificates

This dataset provides the scans of issued certificates for a variety of plants. If you know the certificate number or applicant name simply enter the information in the search box. For certificates issued between 1970 and 1999, add two zeroes in front of the 7-digit number. Alternatively, you can search by selecting a crop from the list.

          PeanutBase

PeanutBase ([peanutbase.org](https://peanutbase.org)) is the primary genetics and genomics database for cultivated peanut and its wild relatives. It houses information about genome sequences, genes and predicted functions, genetic maps, markers, links to germplasm resources, and maps of peanut germplasm origins.

            Legume Information System

The Legume Information System ([legumeinfo.org](https://legumeinfo.org "Legume Information System")) is the USDA-ARS genetics and genomics database for legume crops and relatives. Researchers can also submit their data directly. LIS houses data for more than a dozen species such as common bean and chickpea, peanut, and soybean, with genome sequences, genes and predicted functions, families of related genes, views of evolutionary relationships between genomic regions, genetic maps, markers, and links to germplasm resources.
