Data from: Genome wide association study of thyroid hormone levels following challenge with porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus

Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) causes respiratory disease in piglets and reproductive disease in sows. Piglet and fetal serum thyroid hormone (i.e., T3 and T4) levels decrease rapidly in response to PRRSV infection. Our objective was to estimate genetic parameters and identify quantitative trait loci (QTL) for absolute T3 and/or T4 levels of piglets and fetuses challenged with PRRSV.

Data from: High genetic diversity in the landscape suggests frequent seedling recruitment by Euphorbia virgata Waldst. & Kit. (leafy spurge) in the northern U.S.A.

Site information and field-collected data from a 1-year 100-site survey of leafy spurge (Euphorbia virgata/esula) populations in the northern U.S. Data include: 1) estimates of leafy spurge density and relative prevalence of ramets versus genets; 2) the abundance and composition of Aphthona species complex biological control agents; 3) presence/absence of two additional biological control agents (Oberea erythrocephala and Hyles euphorbiae).

WIC Participant and Program Characteristics 2018

FNS developed a prototype system that allowed for the routine acquisition of information on WIC participants from WIC State Agencies. The 2018 Participant and Program Characteristics (PC2018) is the fourteenth data submission to be completed using the WIC PC reporting system. In April 2018, there were 90 State agencies: the 50 States, American Samoa, the District of Columbia, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, the American Virgin Islands, and 34 Indian tribal organizations.

Global Land Analysis & Discovery (GLAD) Global Cropland Extent

This study utilized 250m MODIS (MODerate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer) data to map global production cropland extent. A set of multi-year MODIS metrics incorporating four MODIS land bands, NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) and thermal data was employed to depict cropland phenology over the period 2000-2008. The probability and discrete cropland/non-cropland data are available for download by MODIS tile at the full ~250m resolution or as global mosaics at ~1km resolution.

            FINDMAP

The findmap.f90 program aligns sequence reads to reference map, calls previous variants, and identifies new variants.

              The Ogallala Agro-Climate Tool

The Ogallala Agro-Climate Tool is a Visual Basic application that estimates irrigation demand and crop water use over the Ogallala Aquifer region.
