Walnut Gulch Experimental Watershed, Lucky Hills (Carbon Dioxide and Water Flux)

The meteorological data and Bowen ratio energy balance systems (BREB) (Model 023/CO2 Campbell Scientific Inc., Logan, Utah, USA) data are used to calculate carbon dioxide and evapotranspiration (ET) fluxes at Lucky Hills. The stored Bowen ration instrument data from the measurement site were transmitted by radio daily to our research station in Tombstone, AZ.

Walnut Gulch Experimental Watershed, Kendall (Carbon Dioxide and Water Flux)

Atmospheric carbon dioxide and moisture concentrations were measured with an infrared gas analyzer (IRGA) (LI-6262, LI-COR, Inc. Lincoln, Nebraska, USA). Measurements were made from 1997 through the present at the Kendall site. The meteorological data and Bowen ratio energy balance systems (BREB) (Model 023/CO2 Campbell Scientific Inc., Logan, Utah, USA) data are used to calculate carbon dioxide and evapotranspiration (ET) fluxes.

Data from: Feasibility of Infiltration Galleries for Managed Aquifer Recharge in the Mississippi River Valley Alluvial Aquifer of Northeast Arkansas

The information in this dataset is from "Feasibility of Infiltration Galleries for Managed Aquifer Recharge in the Mississippi River Valley Alluvial Aquifer of Northeast Arkansas" by Godwin et al., 2020. Included in the dataset are the following raw data: Table of well log point; Raw geophysical data files; Soil sample textural analysis data; Soil sample chemical analysis data.

        Soil Texture Calculator

The Soil Texture Calculator web tool allows the user to input sand and clay percentages to obtain the soil texture. An Excel version is also available for download.

          ROSETTA

Estimates water retention, saturated and unsaturated hydraulic conductivity from basic soil data (requires 32-bit Windows).

            Wind Erosion Prediction System (WEPS)

This site provides access to the WEPS software version used for official purposes by NRCS field offices and Technical Service providers. NRCS developed and maintains the components of the WEPS Databases and information on this site. The USDA-Agricultural Research Service is the lead agency for developing the science in the WEPS model and the model interface. WEPS predicts many forms of soil erosion by wind such as saltation-creep and suspension including PM-10.
