Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Croplands

This download provides three datasets aggregated from the original output of the 172 crops; total emissions from croplands, per kilocalorie emissions from croplands and per food kilocalorie emissions from cropland.

NLET - National Load Estimating Tool

NLET (National Load Estimating Tool) is a web-based tool for estimating pollutant loads in watersheds across the contiguous United States. This tool helps visualize the effects of land use patterns, cultivated crops, and conservation practices through graphical representation.

USDA Foreign Agricultural Service Market and Trade Data

FAS’s PSD (Production, Supply and Distribution) Online data for those commodities published in the WASDE Report are reviewed and updated monthly by an interagency committee chaired by USDA’s World Agricultural Outlook Board (WAOB), and consisting of: the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS), the Economic Research Service (ERS), the Farm Service Agency (FSA), and the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS). The international portion of the data is updated with input from agricultural attachés stationed at U.S. embassies around the world, FAS commodity analysts, and country and commodity analysts with ERS. The U.S. domestic component is updated with input from analysts in FAS, ERS, the National Agricultural Statistical Service, and FSA. Interagency work on the database is carried out under the aegis of the WAOB. The official USDA supply and use data is published monthly in: WAOB, World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE); in the foreign agricultural commodity circular series issued by FAS; and in the regional situation and outlook reports and monthly commodity newsletters of ERS (see keywords Crops and Animal Products) data for horticultural products are usually published twice a year.

        The Organic INTEGRITY Database

The Organic INTEGRITY Database is a certified organic operations database that contains up-to-date and accurate information about operations that may and may not sell as organic, deterring fraud, increases supply chain transparency for buyers and sellers, and promotes market visibility for organic operations.

Maize Genetics Cooperation Stock Center Catalog of Stocks

The Maize Genetics Cooperation Stock Center is operated by USDA/ARS, located at the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign, and integrated with the National Plant Germplasm System (NPGS). The center serves the maize research community by collecting, maintaining and distributing seeds of maize genetic stocks, and providing information about maize stocks and the mutations they carry through the Maize Genetics and Genomics Database (MaizeGDB).

Data from: Datasets for transcriptomic analyses of maize leaves in response to Asian corn borer feeding and/or jasmonic acid

Corn's (*Zea mays*) response to initial insect damage involves a variety of changes to the levels of defensive enzymes, toxins, and communicative volatiles. Such a dramatic change secondary metabolism necessitates the regulation of gene expression at the transcript level. This *Data In Brief* paper summarizes the datasets of the transcriptome of corn plants in response to corn stalk borers (*Ostrinia furnacalis*) and/or methyl jasmonate (MeJA). Altogether, 39,636 genes were found to be differentially expressed.
